I have had many a patient come in gloomy and smileless and leave with big smiles after getting CLs.

I have one gal who got fit with clear CLS that was so happy, she has been trying to order color lenses from 800contacts 3 times in the past 9 months. I never fit her with those so faxed back that 800 contacts can't dispense them until she comes for follow up. Every 3 months I get nother verification request from 800 for the same CLs. I think they must be selling them to her even though I denied her the Rx for them.

At a family function I was speaking to one of my cousins who is an optometrist about this. I mentioned how often shy young girls become more outgoing and social after getting contact lenses. My cousin who is a plastic surgeon jumped in with "you should see what happens when they get boobs".
