i communicated with the author who is an ODwire.org member to see if he is interested in copying his piece for our newly revised article section.
 
Italian doctors in the late 70's studied the effect of vitamin C dosing and the lowering of IOP as a result. They found that Vitamin C lowers IOP modestly. The degree of lowering was not up to what is seen with standard hypotensive agents. Dr. Bush is saying that vitamin C helps clean out the arterial plaque, which would be pretty revolutionary if true.:eek:

I think he's trying to say that he has been following the "cleaning out" of arterial plaque with a retinal camera? I'm sorry, call me a skeptic, but I don't buy it one bit. This guy also goes on to say that he's trying to detect glaucoma by watching for "nasalization" of the central retinal arteries and veins!? Thats just dinosaur!

I second that, looks like one flew over the cuckoo's nest. Even if there was some validity, he isn't providing any substantial evidence.
