Optometry students' trip opens eyes to Haiti issues (Atlanta Journal-Constitution)

A group of optometry students and a former student now practicing in Tucker traveled to a place not on many people's must-visit list last month. For one week, the group visited Haiti to deliver comprehensive eye care to hundreds of local residents without access to even a pair of drugstore reading glasses. The experience opened many of their eyes to things many Americans take for granted.
